A journal of events and circumstances in my life, knowing they are all interwoven and always work together for good.

Real Time
Ok, it's not like really being there, but living 1700 miles away, it's the next best thing. With my two grandchildren turning 3 and 6 within a week of each other it was fun today to be a part of their mutual party and watch them open their gifts and wish them a Happy Birthday. Thankgoodness for Skype and the abilty to connect in real time and experience their special moments instead of only hearing about them later. It's a wonderful age we live in and I, especially, appreciate this great tool to make me feel like I am in the moment.

It's so great, isn't it?? But your pix of us is WAY more clear than the pix I get of you. I'll have to look into that. Fun to have you at the party! ;) XOXO
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you can get in on the action of those birthday parties! I'll post a cool picture of Katri and the kids talking to you on Skype. They are so excited to see you. They act like it's just a normal everyday thing to talk to your grandma hundreds of miles away on a computer. Me? I feel like I'm on the Jetsons.
